It is ridiculous I called and told them I had deposits due Monday (and so is theirs in fact it turns out) and I didn't even have my acceptance letter from over 2 weeks ago because scholarship committe is evidently just now meeting.

I haven't looked at past threads but I feel like ASU is going to start feeling some of the backlash for their delayed process this year. Can't imagine anyone from OOS going there after all this for anything more than 10k a year if they're only informed mid-April.

So what's the protocol if ASU's acceptances still haven't come in by their seat deposit deadline? I'm pretty much decided on going to ASU, but I need them to make it official.

They told me they give extra time like 2 weeks after you get your letter or something.

Like the poster above said, they'll extend your deadline. It likely won't be too long.denglese wrote:So what's the protocol if ASU's acceptances still haven't come in by their seat deposit deadline? I'm pretty much decided on going to ASU, but I need them to make it official.

Same here too. It's taking them quite a while. Hopefully the "Thank you for your interest" banner at the top doesn't mean bad news waiting in the mailbox when I go back to school from break.unclepete wrote:Same!NIUmelk wrote:Nope, nothin yet. It's still stuck at under review 3/15.

I went complete on 2/6 and In Review on 3/13. So far, nothing new...
Already had to send in a scholarship deposit to another school just in case I get denied at ASU. The waiting game with this place sucks.

Is "file released for review" the same as "under review" or will there be another change to "under review" ?LizardRock wrote:Finally some movementFile complete 1/11/13 ... went under review 3/29/13.

Same here. 2/6-3/15-4/1... But it doesn't list "Under Review 2", it basically just updated the date. Same with you?luxurylawyer wrote:Apparently I went UR2 yesterday. 2/4-3/15-4/1.

Right. "Under Review 2" isn't an official term, just a way for us to distinguish the different date changes.unclepete wrote:Same here. 2/6-3/15-4/1... Got the update as well. If ASU had been literally a day quicker, I might not have had to sacrifice $500 to the gods of GW law. C'est la vie. Today should be the day and we should all expect good news. Good luck everyone!

Re: ASU c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I was accepted 3/13 with a comment to expect the packet in the next week... still waiting. I called the Admissions office because my U of A deadline is Saturday. Chrissy told me packets are supposed to be sent out later this week. However, having experienced ASU as an undergrad, this is normal. It is also the reason I am considering attending Minnesota for considerably more money...
I also sent an email and got this back:
"We have had a delay in mailing the packets, we anticipate they will be mailed later on this week. I have made a note to email you the information as soon as it ready."
So, if you email them, they may notify you sooner and you won't have to wait for the mail.

You might want to ask if you can come by campus and swoop up the packet yourself. Certainly it will depend on whether or not they're "ready," but I recall them allowing people do this last cycle.keviiiiiiiiiiiin wrote:I was accepted 3/13 with a comment to expect the packet in the next week... still waiting.
