My status date changed yesterday, 11/29, as well! ED.

First update since complete. Nov.30. Applied RD.

I went complete on 9/14, RD. No change since that date. I did apply JD/MA though, so I'm just going to tell myself that that has slowed things down...

I applied RD, beginning of Oct and no change since I went complete either. I think they're doing ED people first.. I hope!

haha thank you!! I am back! I'm glad I took a couple years off-- hopefully good WE will help come OCI time. I applied really early so I'm hoping to hear back soon with better results this cycle.

Does anyone know if last year, ED decisions came out before RD or did some RD decisions come around the same time?

It looks like the first acceptance reported last year on TLS was RD on Dec. 2: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... &start=275.

I also had my date updated today as well, but it still just says complete. Hoping it means something...

Its interesting that may RD applicants heard news before ED applicants. I am ED and would love to hear soon from the school.

Sorry to be a downer with all of this exciting news, but...
I don't believe I was ever admitted a status checker login like I was from (almost) every other school. I only received an email notifying me that my application had been received 11/9 and that a decision likely would be rendered early in December. Does anyone know what this means? Should I contact admissions or would that sound impatient?

My application received email contained my status checker info. Perhaps it was omitted by accident? Might be worth an email to admissions.

I agree- it's weird but I think since they can only accept around 20? (maybe I'm totally off) ED students, many EDers get sent to RD (and then probably admitted pretty quickly after that) and they have already been evaluating RD applicants for a little while already (I'm assuming). Other than the fact that I wouldn't want to commit to BU right away, even though it is one of my top choices, I really don't think I'd be accepted ED and I think I will actually hear earlier as an RD applicant because I won't have to wait for them to reject me as an EDer and put me in the pile with the other RDs.
