Knew I forgot some pertinent info; I submitted 10/9 and it sat at that point until a few days ago. I submitted a fair number of apps and subsequently lost track of the status updates - poor TLS form, I know!

Slim. But I've applied to schools where my chances are slimmer and have my fingers crossed. All we can do is hope soft factors carry some weight!

I applied to Fordham on 9/16 and my status checker went complete on 9/26, and the last update is 11/19. I know a couple people heard back already, so does it mean that I probably got waitlisted/rejected since I applied so early and wasn't one of the first few to hear back? Or do some people who applied super early and are accepted hear back a little later on? I'm a splitter at 3.4/166. Are the people who hear back the earliest those who have the best numbers usually? Also, I called last monday to check on the status of my application and they said it was 'under review'. So tempted to call again tomorrow but i dont wanna be an annoyance lol.

I wouldn't overreact just yet, LSN shows 0 new acceptances for this cycle and only one TLS user, a first time poster, reported getting an acceptance e-mail. If I had to guess, this is the week for early applicants to hear back from Fordham.

also, somebody just posted a 'waitlist' decision to the LSN graph for fordham. don't know how legit that is since im pretty sure they only sent out decisions that were acceptances so far....

That person posted under the wrong academic year--he or she received the waitlist in March of 2012. I'm curious as to what the SOP is as to scholarship info, and if decisions do in fact come out this week, if they are accompanied by offers or how long before offers follow.

Caveat: the issue regarding no-offers and deferrals for the class of 2009, and to a lesser extent 2010, is not Fordham specific, but was industry-wide.
Keep in mind that this is biglaw specific (as this entire board tends to be) and that there are desirable jobs outside of biglaw.

No scholly details yet, they said I would receive a package with "more information" though (a) I haven't received it yet and (b) they did not specify whether it would have scholly info in there. If it comes with scholly info I'll let you know!

ok so i called the admissions number last week on the 19th because i wanted to know if they sent out decisions yet, and they said no, and my status checker did not say 'under review' yet, so i asked them if a decision was made on my app, and they checked and they said no, it was under review, despite the fact that the status checker did not say (and still does not say) it is under review. so i honestly dont think they update the status checker that much. and im pretty sure theyve only given decisions to the shoo-ins from what it seems so far

I sure hope so. I'm a sub-3.0/170+ splitter, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
