Who cares? It would have nothing to tell you even if it existed. Don't worry, you will be accepted in early to mid November.

What the guy above me said is true. I was gonna call and ask again, but honestly, nothing is gonna happen for a month or two at the very least. Do you really need another status checker to refresh 10x/day? I know I don't.iMisto wrote:Where is my damn status checker?!

Tell me about it. When UCLA emailed me to tell me my application was complete they said they don't have a status checker. So relieved. I wish there were no status checkers period.shntn wrote:What the guy above me said is true. I was gonna call and ask again, but honestly, nothing is gonna happen for a month or two at the very least. iMisto, this is my second application cycle in a row. From everything I have learned, law school applications are very predictable and more often than not if there are surprises they are good ones (meaning you are way more likely to get into a super reach school than you are to get dinged at a target school). At or above both medians=acceptance more often than not. Relax.

When I applied the day apps opened the required amount of LORs/evaluations was 2. Now all of a sudden it seems to have changed to four on LSAC while their website still says two.WhiteyCakes wrote:Explaindanitt wrote:Do did anyone call and ask wtf was up with the sudden change in the application requirements on the LSAC application?

Oh, yeah, and they also have to be letters from heads of departments. No lowly TA's or adjunct professors.iMisto wrote:I can't imagine they would actually require 4...

The LOR issue was discussed in the lounge last night. The consensus is that it's a mistake since both the website and application instructions clearly ask for two references. I assume they're aware of it, but it couldn't hurt to call.

You're not applying to any of the southern schools? There's some decent stuff in the South...you should give it a try.iMisto wrote:alwayssunnyinfl wrote:Yeah, you hear that, UVA!? I'm a hot commodity now. Better snag me up fast.

Not sure I'd be down with it. Plus, I don't see my numbers getting me into UVA/Duke.shntn wrote:You're not applying to any of the southern schools? I'm in at Duke with numbers quite similar to yours. What do you have to lose? And what's wrong with the South? I know it's not a TLS favorite but Duke seems like a pretty awesome school and North Carolina is really pretty.iMisto wrote:Not sure I'd be down with it.
