Who cares? It would have nothing to tell you even if it existed. Don't worry, you will be accepted in early to mid November.

What the guy above me said is true. I was gonna call and ask again, but honestly, nothing is gonna happen for a month or two at the very least. Do you really need another status checker to refresh 10x/day? I know I don't.

Tell me about it. When UCLA emailed me to tell me my application was complete they said they don't have a status checker. So relieved. I wish there were no status checkers period.

iMisto, this is my second application cycle in a row. From everything I have learned, law school applications are very predictable and more often than not if there are surprises they are good ones (meaning you are way more likely to get into a super reach school than you are to get dinged at a target school). At or above both medians=acceptance more often than not. Relax.

When I applied the day apps opened the required amount of LORs/evaluations was 2. Now all of a sudden it seems to have changed to four on LSAC while their website still says two.

Oh, yeah, and they also have to be letters from heads of departments. No lowly TA's or adjunct professors.

The LOR issue was discussed in the lounge last night. The consensus is that it's a mistake since both the website and application instructions clearly ask for two references. I assume they're aware of it, but it couldn't hurt to call.

You're not applying to any of the southern schools? There's some decent stuff in the South...you should give it a try.

Not sure I'd be down with it. Plus, I don't see my numbers getting me into UVA/Duke.

I'm in at Duke with numbers quite similar to yours. What do you have to lose? And what's wrong with the South? I know it's not a TLS favorite but Duke seems like a pretty awesome school and North Carolina is really pretty.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
