Reapplicant? I have the feeling this may be why mine is taking so long. UCLA told me that's what held me up there
Yes I am. You're still waiting on CLS completion also?
Yup

so columbia doesn't have a status checker?
They do, it's in the first email (received) that you get from them. But it just says all the stuff that they have received, it doesn't seem as though they post decisions online.
oh really? i just received one email from them, and it says that my app is now complete. no mention of a status checker. hm...
I went complete ages ago and don't have a status checker to my knowledge. Oh well.

"Thank you for your continued interest in Columbia Law School. We are
excited to report to you that we have received all the required components
of your application and that your file is now complete. We will forward
your file to the Admissions Committee, which will evaluate it in the order
in which it was completed. Good luck in the admissions process and we hope
to welcome you here as a member of the Class of 2016!"
this is all i ever received from columbia. it doesnt mention anything about a status checker
Odd, I got that e-mail, but before that I was given a link to a component check-list to show what components of my application had been received. I then received the complete e-mail.
But on the component check list: "Please note that decisions will not be available online; rather, all applicants will receive their decisions by mail."

Checking in! Submitted 10/12, have heard 0 from them. Even emailed them asking if they'd received everything. I think I'll wait at least a couple of days given current New York conditions before calling.

I hadn't received anything about a status checker either, just a notification that they received my app. This link helped put my fears to rest, though. Thanks a lot bailey.

Columbia is the best school in the entire world! So you should apply to Chicago (less competition for me).

Not that I have a chance to get in but still.

Received a packet from Columbia in the mail today. Knew it was way too early to hear anything, but part of my still got my hopes up. Just the same packet they've already sent to me

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
