did you get that email?
He or she did. This is from last week:
hellothisisme wrote:So um, I got that e-mail about them looking at my application and wanting to know if I'm still interested, but I never got an acceptance e-mail. Guess I'm not getting in this week. Thanks for getting my hopes up, Chicago...
Congrats to everybody who got in, though.
Congrats hello! Do you know if you're going to attend?

Visiting today. I'll let you guys know how it is and what my decision is.
PS: It is way too cold for late April.

same. Does this mean something? It felt like they sent it to the whole waitlist. Can a recent WL>A post the letter they got to see if it's the same as the one we just got?

Ok, the fact that a bunch of us got that email makes me feel a little bit better...I just deposited at Penn about 30 min before getting the "are you still interested" email. Of course I'm still interested, but I was kicking myself the entire commute home for not waiting until the last minute to deposit.
Still, even if this doesn't mean anything...good luck everyone!!

Me too. I had deposited at Penn about a week back and was wishing I had waited for a second there

So what does everyone make of the tempting "Additional Comments" section on the WL Response Form?

Well I chose Chicago. Too good of a school to pass up. It's just where I want to be. Good luck to everyone that got the emails!

I think I've asked this question before in this thread but I'm wondering if opinions have changed now that the cycle is almost over and many people have deposited at other institutions. Would you pay sticker for Chicago after being accepted off of the waitlist? I keep trying to figure out if Chicago is worth taking on such a monstrous load of debt.

For me, it depends on where you were going before/how much $$ you had and what you want to do. What is your other best option?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
