So I called them today about the 2/21 mailing...it was actually just an update for the email Director Price sent out about lowering the seat deposit amount if you attend an open house... apparently they mailed out scholarship info on the 24th...

No, just mail, which I guess is strange since apparently they were emailing them?almondwine wrote:Did you also get an email notification?amandacr wrote:Got a scholarship offer in the mail today - $20K 1L, $15K 2L and 3L. Even more excited to be going this weekend.

Is there an admitted students website? There was no mention of it in my letter. If so, how have you guys gained access?

Yes there is, not much on it though. They sent it out to people who RSVPed for this weekend's ASD. I'm sure if you e-mail them they'd be happy to send you the login info.westcoast wrote:Is there an admitted students website? There was no mention of it in my letter. On another note, anyone else receive scholarship info? Seems odd that only 1 person on TLS and 0 on LSN received anything. If so, numbers? OOS?

Thanks. You're right, the website is a little bare.ap613 wrote:

I recieved scholarship info in my acceptance letter. I'll PM you.
When they called to tell me I was in, they mentioned that scholarships had not been given out yet. So perhaps they've just begun.

Anyone notice the updated info for this weekend's open house on the admitted student page? They posted the entire case Professor Wright will be discussing for the mock lecture. What's the expected level of knowledge we should have going into this lecture? Anyone have experience with this type of thing?

That's not a bad question. I would go comfortable or business casual. No need to dress up.brandon-sa wrote:maybe a stupid question--

I went to the ASW last week. I thought it was awesome. I've never seen a faculty so proud of their colleagues. Also, they had free booze at the reception. One of the more interesting things I learned was about their credit for externships program, and why so many students work during the school year. It also makes their placement much higher than one would expect. It really put Mason at the top of my list.

I agree about the faculty. It was a really good effort on their part and definitely makes me wonder if I should go there. We'll see

Not yet. Still have 12 schools I have yet to hear from. You'd think I'd have a high tolerance for waiting, but it"s getting quite old.USMCMatt wrote:

Old for sure...I'm waiting on 13 including my UGA WL. I'm seriously considering sending a $300 check for 1st and 2nd deposit with another LOCI.
