Waitlisted by email today (the subject was "Waitlist notification")

I applied 12/16. Can't remember my complete date but it was a few weeks after I submitted.

You'll definitely get in with your stats. They only reason you'd ever be WL'd is maybe YP.
Thank you! Just the waiting game now. But good job to everyone else!

As a fun story, I went to the info session on campus on 1/12 and they scheduled it at the same time as the Beer on The Beach. I have a lot of love for a school that provides free beer on a Thursday at 4pm.
:o They really need to tell you things in the admit package. That is AWESOME!

I feel the same way. Not from CA, but would have loved to move to SF. Stats are 3.35/167...super surprised and really disappointed, but oh well! On to the next...

Do you think a letter of interest would help. I live here with my partner and son and would really benefit staying here. i am kind of in shock still :(

Definitely. I would say that in the letter too so they know you want to stay in SF and will attend if admitted. A ton of people were admitted of the WL last year with GPAs around yours but a few LSAT points lower. Good luck!!

Did you tell them this already in your PS/WhyHastings?

I think you should definitely try a LOCI either way. My friend was living in Davis and he was stuck on the Davis WL till June, but he sent a LOCI and another LOR and he got in eventually.

Do you have anything to add to your Resume or another potential recommender?

I have fall grades that will bump my GPA. They should get those within a week or so. I also have a Cali Supreme Court Judicial Internship and a teaching gig at SF State. I tried to send this new resume a couple weeks ago but they said they don't take new info. that was before the wl though so idk.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
