WL today. I had a strong PS and am in FU undergrad. Didn't expect this.
Based on those who were waitlisted today, it seems Fordham is quite unfriendly to splitters like you and me. Before I applied I was warned that Fordham is 100% numbers-focused because they are trying to climb the rankings, and I guess I should have listened.

With your great LSAT I'm sure you'll have some good options. Good luck!

So having been waitlisted, but still being very interested in Fordham, I have an important question...

I will be submitting fall grades in about 3 weeks, at which point my GPA should jump by about .12. Will my application be reviewed again in January or will I likely be waiting until May or something? Does anyone know the answer to this?

I don't know the answer to the above, but when am I supposed to send my fall grades to admissions offices? As soon as I get them?

I'm the same - I guess they just haven't looked at our files yet.

Yeah I'm not too sure about this. I think it's tricky with the early action deadline looming. Perhaps they want to get through the second batch of applicants before committing to candidates & how much aid they give them. I could totally be wrong, but Fordham does accompany their acceptances with their fin aid packages, so they may want to make sure that they are gauging their interest correctly before deciding.

Also got waitlisted today. Kinda pleasantly surprised because I thought I was gonna get rejected. What's the best way to handle this now?

Just means someone in the admissions office made a file for you with all your information and they are no longer missing any documents. Right now that file is probably sitting in between everyone else's files waiting for the committee to look it over (which will probably happen within the next couple of weeks considering your complete date).

Well, you just need to submit it to LSAC and they will send your updated report to the schools. I will also email an unofficial transcript when I get it. Submit to LSAC as soon as possible if it's going to raise your GPA.

Just so you guys know, as I posted before, I went complete for the first time on 10/31 but only had my status update for the first time LATE last night (11/30). So although I'm not sure what MEANS persay, I would advise you guys not to worry about it and to just be patient for a little while longer :)

I second that. The application cycle can make an applicant stir-crazy, especially with the various expectations we place on ourselves and others place on us. For those waiting (i.e. status updates, wait listed status or scholly info), be encouraged and don't worry :D
