Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Also checking in. Stats are in my profile:
Accepted: UVA, Georgetown, GWU, and a couple T30-T20 safeties.
Held: Cornell
Pending: Chicago ED (I imagine I'll get my WL/rejection today or tomorrow), and the rest of the T14 minus HY.
I have a fairly unique major and decent work/volunteer experience during undergrad which may be helping somewhat.

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Don't know how I hadn't seen this thread yet...
With 175/~3.4
In: Wake, W&L, UGA, Alabama
Waiting: Most of the T14 + a couple other places
Didn't ED anywhere and I applied late-ish, hoping this doesn't ruin my cycle.

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Just saw this post now.
I optimistically call myself a splitter (3.35/167) and I'm hoping that my softs help pull me through some top choices (LSN page in profile) and in my opinion my PS is awesome...I've been complete/UR everywhere since late November, early December and the waiting is killing me! I just want one school already...
I also keep having mild heart attacks everytime I get an email/phone call from an unknown number, and this site has killed my confidence and is making me apply to extra schools...haha
Good luck everyone!

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Well this splitter is having a good new year- in at Vandy and UVA. If I don't count the waitlist at Chicago, that means I'm in at 2 of my top 3. Hopefully I'll stay on a roll this next week.
And congrats on NU. I think the splitters on here are doing well so far.

Hey numbers twinish. Do you have a LSN account?hoos89 wrote:2.91 / 170 just got into WUSTL, submitted as a candidate for $$.
Other top choices I'm waiting on are Georgetown, Northwestern, Michigan, Texas, UVa, BC, BU, and George Washington.
Other places I've applied: Indiana, Fordham, American, W&M, Houston, UC-Davis, Arizona St, Emory, and GMU
I was surprised by the WUSTL e-mail; I applied on Christmas Eve and got the e-mail on January 5th which suggests that they auto-admitted me. I had been working under the assumption that my numbers were such that WUSTL was a reach for me...so I sent in a few more applications to T14 schools.
I got waitlisted from UVa ED by the way.

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Thought I'd say hello with my 3.4x / 176. Nice to see some fellow splitters.
4 years WE. Submitted apps beginning of Jan (oops). Took the LSAT in 2009 (is that looked down upon?).
Applied to most of the t14, plus BC and BU because I like Boston and Harvard isn't going to happen.
Best of luck to everyone,

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Checking in with a 3.19/168. I applied pretty much everywhere in the T20, plus every place that gave me a fee waiver. ~3 years work experience in a top psychology research program, published in an APA journal...hopefully this will help my chances for T14.
In: WUSTL, UNLV (full ride)
WL/Out: None yet
After browsing LSN for a ridiculously long time today, it looks like there are far fewer candidates with stellar GPA/LSATs this year, especially T10. I'm considering throwing a late app to Yale...at least my app would give the adcomms something to laugh at

Reverse splitter: 155/3.92
Do I have any chance at NYU, Fordham, Cordaza, Columbia, Penn, Boston College, BU?
Targets: St. John, Syracuse with money, Buffalo, Hofstra with money, UMiami, Brooklyn, University of Florida, Rutgers
Safety: New York Law, maybe Quinnipiac to see how much money
Thanks.
