Re: Waitlisted at UVa
Dean Richard said six days ago that significant cuts would be made "within the next week" so obviously from one way of looking at it, we'll be in the clear (for the time being) after tomorrow.

Re: Waitlisted at UVa
Wonder how many people are still on the waitlist? I've been on since early November. I've pretty much given up the prospect, however.

We survived! I think? If we did, it's only a small victory haha. I haven't seen a single person say they were cut although that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Maybe we'll get an email soon either way

Re: Waitlisted at UVa
TLS-ers probably have a higher chance of sticking around due to our elitism and incessant pestering of admissions officers... this thread probably isn't a realistic depiction of their WL. And that's fine with me.

I'm on the short list as well...I wonder how long it is? Doesn't seem that "short," but it could be that TLS has the majority of people remaining on the WL.

Also on the "short" list. I doubt that many more people will withdraw at this point though.

Re: Waitlisted at UVa
If a VA resident withdraws, does the spot have to be taken by another VA resident? If a non-resident withdraws, is the spot taken by a non-resident?
Anyone know?

Re: Waitlisted at UVa
I highly doubt they are that particular about it. UVa doesn't have to take any in-state kids, but they traditionally shoot for around 40%. I think they actually end up taking a lot of in-state transfers and juice up the number that way.iwanta170 wrote:If a VA resident withdraws, does the spot have to be taken by another VA resident?
