I'm jealous you had just flurries today. It is blizzard conditions in the Mitt today :/

It was like 20 degrees warmer 2 weeks ago, so I am still in my fall mindset. We rarely get snow before the new year so no one is quite ready yet. Still too cold for me.

On Saturday, it was 40 and nice. Yesterday and today is full on blizzard conditions. Not amused.

What would you do in a Columbia vs. Berkeley sticker situation?

hmm. columbia's got the bigger name i guess but as someone who wants to biglaw in california (i'm cold-phobic) does anyone know if berk's 'regional pull' would even out columbia's ranking?

I got the 12/14 Decision letter mailed as well as my original 12/07 decision letter mailed. That would be absolutely amazing if it was a merit scholly offer.

Please report if it is a merit aid offer, it would be awesome if it is! I probably won't see it until early next week of course.

I was talking to a 3L the other day who got a merit scholly, he said his offer came about two weeks after he heard he got in, but that he got in late january/early february so he wasn't sure if two weeks out was when everyone heard or if everyone had to wait until february : (

I'm in California, and received the 12/14 decision letter today. There's no second mailing listed on my status checker, though, so that one is a complete mystery.

But here's hoping that we all get super-generous merit aid offers!

r6 I only have one but I was in the second batch of admits (12/6)... but the mailing day for mine is also 12/14 which makes me think that unfortunately maybe the system lists the mailing as sent to all admits so far or something along those lines? hopefully i'm wrong
