Yes, the school is in a nice area of town. Of course, there are very few "hood" areas in Denver these days - gentrification has been going on for quite a while!IamAskier wrote:I as well am not super familiar with the Denver area, but I'm pretty used to the climate coming from Salt Lake. I am under the impression that the school is located in a pretty nice/non-hood area of Denver? I noticed titles such as "Cherry" and "Creek" near the school on google maps, which I've been told is the nicest neighborhood in the city? Could a Denver native correct me?
edit: Does Denver even really have a "hood"?
As for everyone wondering about living, it really depends on what you want to be near. Anywhere in town is going to run you from 500 to 1000 for apartments, depending on size, amenities, etc. Since the school is right next to the light rail line, you can go anywhere from a few miles south or north to downtown if you don't want to drive, or really anywhere else if you're okay with driving or catching the bus.
Edit: I kind of live in the hood, though it is fast disappearing as people realize where the cheap housing still is!
