yes it changed to a 8 week time frame for me today too. I thought maybe because today was the actual 6 week mark for me. Hopefully good news soon.

Just logged into my status checker and same thing. That leaves me with about a week to make my final decision before deposits are due. Hopefully scholarship info will come with an acceptance or I'm screwed. Come on, Seton Hall!

maybe when the time gets closer you can ask the other school to extend your deposit date. I am not really sure about the rules regarding that, I just know a friend of mine was able to do that last year.

I realllllly want seton hall so I am hoping for good news!

I am. I wasn't even really considering Seton Hall...

Then again, the rankings don't mean a whole lot. They jump from year-to-year like wildfire.

Rankings in this range are of 0 significance. I made no judgment on Seton Hall, but I only caution that people considering the school shouldn't look to rankings for any sort of guidance.

I agree, theyre just guidelines. But still up is better than down.

Admit packet came in the mail. I received a generous scholarship from Seton; it's nearly full tuition (Chancellor). The Conditions are reasonable.

I think I will be withdrawing though

I was accepted today via status checker, no email. Hopefully the packet will come soon, I need to know how much money they are offering....

edit: how long did it take to receive the packet after you were informed of the acceptance?

The jump from 72 to 61 is still 2nd tier to 2nd tier, but wouldn't you rather jump UP 11 places than down?

Temple, PSU, SHU were all tied at 72. Temple and SHU jumped 11 to 61 and PSU jumped 12 to 60. Some sort of regional coincidence both years? I don't even know what to make of that.

Anyway, with RU-C and N both dropping from T-80 to T-84, if SHU is offering you good merit, it seems like a better place over RU, even if you have in-state tuition ... but who knows?

I'll be at ASD friday to check things out, so, we'll see how they look.
