Withdrew my app this morning. Tired of playing phone tag with the admissions office. Best of luck to anyone still waiting!

I am very suprised they were so hard to get a hold of for you, I had not found that to be the case at all. They are probably just busy sifting through all the applications since it seems as if there are still so many of us still waiting for an answer.

Thank you! So, who has made their final decision? Despite the cuts, tuition increase, and whole variety pack of con's, I've not only decided, but I'm very excited to go to Boyd...

I would think so. Both of those schools are fully accredited and ABA-approved. I know someone who transferred to Boyd from Cal Western last year, so I don't see why not. Still, I'd ask admissions.

I would also agree that as long as it's an aba school in good standing they should transfer at least some of your credits, but I would also call admissions for further info.

And to answer a previous question. I am in-state and I did receive a phone call, probably 2 weeks before I was accepted. I got the same question "Why UNLV" and asked if there were any questions for them to answer.

Thanks for the info, I am still waiting patiently but the cut off for some schools I was accepted to is coming very quickly so I hope they let me know in the next week by wed or thurs. Waiting is tough for sure.

T-shirt? Ha! Right now it is 64* here in Las Vegas with 24 mph winds gusting up to 45+!

I realize that may still be short weather for some people back East but here it is FREEZING!

I need to warn people. After being here a few years, your blood thins out and anything below 80 feels chilly. Just fair warning. Going back home to Chicago or New York may never feel the same again.

Call them up and let them know. The admissions office is really very friendly. I am sure they can use that information.

Also have you sent them any information about continued interest since you applied? (This would really only matter if your application date was a while ago.)

Ok called them up and told them about my cut offs for other schools and also told them they were my first choice. Elizabeth who was very friendly and helpful told me they should have all decisions out by the end of April and that the committee is meeting every week. So I hope this helps everyone else who is waiting, she also told me it was probably a good thing that I have not been declined so far because there have been many more declines than accepted applications so far.

that is very good information. It kinda sucks that they wait for so long to make decisions, but I guess it weeds out all of those people who aren't very interested. Hopefully all of us that want to go there that haven't heard back yet will hear soon!

I know what you mean if I could get a yes or no either way it would allow me to make some decisions, but this being in limbo part really sucks!

I think I did. I got my call on a friday too and was accepted the following tuesday. Maybe today is your day!! Good luck!

Hahaha I am the same way! (don't tell lol) Still waiting on a couple schools. It doesn't help that my job is SOOOO boring and I have nothing better to do.
