@aggiegrad - that's all. My significant other has a great job in the Bay and we recently bought a house here, so if I wanted to go to law school anytime in the near future it was the Bay area, and I want to do public interest law, so I applied to programs I knew had LRAP opportunities. It was a heck of a ride y'alls.

Pretty sure I'll be a Hastings 1L come May! I'm currently doing an internship at the DA's office as a double check (do I really want to do this) but so far I love it and I'm pretty excited for law school.

Hastings gives VERY VERY VERY little merit aid. One glance @ LSN and talking to Hastings students will let you know about that. You'll get a $10,000 renewable "Hastings grant" if you demonstrate financial need though.

Feels like there is hardly anyone else on TLS with a 166/3.8. I applied far and wide, but only to schools in LA/NY/SF/Boston/DC/Chicago. Complete at Hastings on 1/12... Hopefully I hear soon!!

Oh, that's nice! On the admitted students website breakdown, it says $10,000 (as well as on my admission packet).

Good stuff! =]

That is a pretty nice chunk o' change.

Now if only they'd start working with the VA on the Yellow Ribbon Program... D:

Mine went to voicemail and I didn't hear any info of any schollys. I am imagine most of that will come with the acceptance packet. The weird thing is that the same day I get a call from greg is the same day I got the letter saying I got accepted. Either they're running behind with the calls or they plan it that way.

Definitely not the latter because I got my call well ahead of my letter + packet.

Got a call from one of the Assistant Deans on Thursday. Small envelope came in the mail Friday. Looking like Hastings is going to be my spot. Love the city.

Congratulations everyone! :-D I was an EC admit, so I'm definitely attending Hastings this fall. Who's planning on attending admit days?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
