It has always shown that. Do you have a decision rendered or anything like that?SFnative wrote:Does anyone know if in the FEES box it has always shown

Re: Chapman 2011!
I feel you, today is the 3 month anniversary of being in review. I've called a few times to ask silly little questions just so they'd look at my file. I'd try to get little hints off that, and make it obvious that I'm still interested, but nothing! Back when I called at the end of December they told me that they were going to expedite the process right after the new year, and here we all are.

Re: Chapman 2011!
Does the status checker change from "Application Received" to "Complete" or does it just go to under review?

I think it goes to complete first, not 100% sure.

Re: Chapman 2011!
It definitively goes complete first. Mine was stuck there for over a month, even though they say they put applications in review within two weeks.
I'm hoping now that my application is in review, I will get a decision within a couple weeks.

Re: Chapman 2011!
Got my acceptance letter today.
100%/full tuition scholarship.
Really confused because I got an email from them a month ago saying that my application was incomplete and missing information. And then I didn't do anything about it.
So... guess they changed their mind in a big way? Lol.

I've heard that Chapman has finalized its Dean search, culminating in the acquisition of a dynamic candidate to lead the law school. Announcement to follow on February 25. Can anyone confirm?

I don't know if 2/25 is the exact date, but I know they're announcing it very soon.

I don't think I'll end up at Chapman, but y'all should check it out (if you haven't already). Their law building is SUPER nice and it's pretty new too. Downtown Orange is also cute. Oh, and everyone in the admissions office was very friendly.

Re: Chapman 2011!
over two months?! geez! i think i prefer going from complete to DR (some other schools are set up this way) instead of this middle ground of in review. it messes with my nerves too much!

For those accepted, how long did it take for you to receive the actual acceptance letter and folder?

For me, I sent my application in on Feb 1st, was admitted Feb 14th, and received the acceptance package in the mail with 80% scholly on Feb 17th. I was really surprised at how quickly they got back to me.
I'm also going to the Scholars Weekend! I was excited about it at first, and still am, but after reading that they had a cruise last year, I'm kinda bummed lol. That would have been really fun.
I only applied to Chapman, Southwestern and Loyola. Right now it looks like it's going to be Chapman for me unless I get a nice sized scholarship from Loyola (who I still have to hear back from), but I really don't see that happening.

Re: Chapman 2011!
I got an accepted message via status checker 2/16 and a notification that a decision letter was mailed 2/16. But I haven't received the letter and now there's a "blank space" next to the date, 2/24 in my status checker. I'm a little weirded out. Like it's a, "sorry, we made a mistake, and you're not accepted letter."
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
