There's no accounting for taste/preference... but out of curiosity, why do you dislike Chicago so much?
I can't really place it. Being from the midwest, I've been there a ton of times. I like visiting, I just can't see myself living there. Too New York like, I want something smaller and slower paced I think.

$18K/yr if I keep a 3.2...
Anyone know where they set their curve at? I am guessing this is a top 1/3 requirement.
Same EXACT deal today. T-Shirt, packet, $18k, 3.2 requirement. Sorry, DePaul... But you're the 4th best school in Chicago, I'm not going to go there on only $18k a year and no guarantee I'll keep the scholarship. I'll definitely take a full-ride, no GPA (good academic standing only) scholarship to St. Thomas in Minneapolis, since I'd rather live there than Chi anyway.
Whoa, I would maybe talk to a few other people about this...
Minneapolis > Chicago? Are you serious? 4th best school or not (I actually think it's 5th... Loyola + Kent are both higher... unless you consider Northwestern (Evanston) not in Chicago) I think you'd be making a terrible life decision by chosing St. Thomas over DePaul and Chicago.
Northwestern's law school is actually in Chicago proper, only the UG campus is in Evanston.

Yeah I got Decision Rendered at about 9:40 am, and had an answer at about 9:00 pm. (And I was checking constantly).

Decision rendered here too. Are the decisions sent via email or do I have to keep checking the status checker every 5 minutes?

In general it has taken about 4 - 12 hours to get a status checker change, but that comes out long before the emails (at least, for me it did).

My email came the next morning. I would think you all will have an email tomorrow in the am at the latest if you don't want to keep checking your status online.

Decision rendered here as well.
How are you guys killing time in between status checks? Hopefully not by checking your status at the other schools to which you applied

Thanks for the heads up. I will try to stay away for awhile now.

Yeah, DePaul was the first school that I heard from via status checker. I got very little done at work that day.
Good luck to everyone who went Decision Rendered today!
