forgive, I'm sure this has been addressed before, but does USD change status to DR when they've reached a decision?

My status changed to DR before I recieved my packet a couple days later. Hope that helps.

Complete since 11/23. I have heard absolutely nothing from them since. However, my numbers are on the lower end for them, so I wasn't expecting anything quick.

I'm 165/3.5 with solid softs (MBA, 4 years Legal WE), but I just turned my apps in this week. Do you think I'm at a serious enough disadvantage to effect my chances?

I don't think so. If you were below/at their 25th percentiles for LSAT/GPA, maybe, but with those numbers I think you'll be fine.

WOW thats a quick turnaround. Ive been complete since the 18th. hopefully that means they're moving quickly on these apps.

How is USD looked upon in sd? Is it seen as a good school? Or so-so?

USD law has a strong regional reputation in sd. if you want to practice here (San Diego), it'd be a good choice. as far as in LA or norcal, probably not as strong of a reputation.

Second that. USD is looked upon well in San Diego, probably one of the best places to go if you want to practice in SD because you can make the contacts.

Went complete 10/29...applied ED with bottom 25% numbers. Status never changed even when I got the dreaded "Sorry you didn't get in ED but you're deferred" email. Current status date changed today to 1/21, but still "File Complete". Should I expect a rejection letter in a few days?
