Dont count on it.. all the ppl in that group are either currently astronauts in space, collecting plant samples in the amazon, or assisting in telomere studies for aging research right now.

Kretzky got in that early I believe, and while he was definitely a very strong candidate, he didn't cure cancer or anything.

Gah... Joining the neurotic waiting. This is probably the one thread I'll wind up stalking more than any other. I lurked last year's thread from February until the bitter end as I was signing on to this whole circus True story.

This was actually the last app I submitted because I got so nervous about it. Still haven't gotten my status checker, and it'll be eons before I hear anything back. But odds are, here I'll be...

I promise not to cry when I get rejected and end up in NYC or the like. And I promise to pee my pants proudly if I get a good call from Dean Deal. Pinkyswear...

This is true, though I was in the second week of Wave 1. I'm at exactly both medians.

I'm slightly above LSAT median slightly below GPA median. We'll see how it works out, a community college class I took in high school dropped my GPA from being exactly at S's median .

Hey hey hey, watch dissing the waitlist here! Speaking from experience, SLS is just as awesome off the waitlist as it is if you get in first round. At the end of the day, you'll all start classes at the end of August, so whatever happens before then doesn't really matter. Having to wait isn't all that fun, but let's face it, if you're going to get into SLS at some point, you're also going to get into amazing other schools that you'll be lined up to attend. At that point, SLS just becomes the cherry on top.

Heh, I am not dissing the wait list, that's for sure. While I would MOST prefer to have an acceptance (obviously), getting a wait list would at least mean Stanford acknowledges my existence.

Yes, they do. I think I received mine like 4 days after my submission.

Me too! I'm so nervous. I keep second-guessing myself and my application. I don't think my PS was exceptional, and my softs are very much average, but I'm really hoping my numbers will carry me through.
