Duke is probably 3 or so for me. However, if they give out a nice scholly, that could change...

unfortunately i'm in the realm of median/median so I don't think I can hope for too much... the medians of class of 2013 were so much higher than 2012! In my mind I went from a a good chance of $40-60k to lucky to get much of anything at all.

Is it supposed to say anywhere on the status checker that you're PT? I registered for PT a while back when they sent me the invitation email, but just went complete today. Does anyone know if its just supposed to be automatic?

It's just automatic if you signed up when you got the email. I don't think it said anything on the status checker. Best of luck!

yup, as long as you registered, there's no other indication until you go under review quickly and get your decision within the 10 days.

well good news, i just checked today (i submitted my app friday night) and now it says "complete and ready for review." so just check in a day or so to make sure everything is okay with yours, although i'm sure it is.

For those in already, how do you think our scholarship chances are? What kinda numbers do you think we'll need?

With a 170/171ish from LSN it looks like 45-65 thousand for those who received $$. GPAs 3.6 and higher... from 172-up it looks like 65-80ish but you can't stack the numbers according to scholarship amount so it's kindof a pain to look for the data.

Did you turn the form in yet? They notified me that they received it but wouldn't start deciding til January...

Just got my Duke acceptance packet :). Definitely an awesome feeling. Dean Hoye included a nice personal handwritten note on my (personalized to the type of law I said I was interested in) accepted letter :D. Duke has impressed me so much so far this cycle, far more than I ever expected.

Good to hear--mine went complete the day after and I'm now under review. Hoping it'll be my first decision in a few days.

I have a status checker question. Did you all's statuses only update once a week? Mine updated Saturday the 9th, then Saturday the 16th but hasn't changed since then.

Yep. In fact it only updated once, period, from complete to "review." Got the email acceptance before the status checker updated. Came on the 10th day past completion exactly.
