Also, I know Knock is in-state. Are the other people who already got acceptances in-state?

Me. Too. Same date. I think they are trying to decide which Philly person to give a call too. They will put our files on the wall and throw darts at it.thecilent wrote:Hmm I've gotten no love from UCLA yet. Complete 10/7
Half of my PS took place in LA too. But that may work against me.

Complete since 10/7, as well. It seems like everyone finding out these days has a much later completion date. Do we think this a bad sign for those of us complete since 10/7 who have yet to receive a call?

Maybe it's because we're in state, as the poster above mentioned? I'm in state.r6_philly wrote:They "misplaced" our pile in the bathroom.ellewoods2 wrote:Complete since 10/7, as well. I don't think they recovered my file after the crash.thecilent wrote:Maybe some woman's comp. crashed like at Harrrrvard =P
I am sure we will hear from UCLA very soon. It's been coming out slowly so maybe they are indeed processing the in state apps first. I would worry if I don't hear in the next 2 weeks. Since my numbers are above both 75, if I don't hear back soon I will expect a WL.

If one does not want to work in California after graduation, is UCLA an efficient use of application dollars? thanks

How does UCLA $$ work? Dean's scholarship at admission? Do they have named/special programs?

Not sure really. I don't think I would get that much money though with my numbers. Maybe a little bit but I don't think I could get anywhere near a full ride.r6_philly wrote:I wish someone give me a full scholly somewhere so I can add that to the options. Time to apply to Temple?Knock wrote:

Knock what're your numbers again? (feel free to pm) I remember you did well on the June LSAT, so I assume your GPA is lower? Or am I underestimating how high your numbers need to be to get $?Knock wrote:Not sure really. I don't think I would get that much money though with my numbers. I would think you'd be pretty sure of getting some money with that then. Hell, even I'm hoping to get some, and I'm a 168/3.77 (hey, I can dream...)Knock wrote:171/3.8Arbiter213 wrote:

Hmm, if they are, it may not be a good sign for me. I am in state and I applied October 11. Nothing but crickets. I think I have the numbers to get in. And I did the distinctive contribution essay. I just need to be patient.r6_philly wrote: I am sure we will hear from UCLA very soon. It's been coming out slowly so maybe they are indeed processing the in state apps first. Yes but we applied mid Sept and became complete on 10/7. You are probably not among the first wave of applications regardless of in/out state.sarahhope82 wrote:Hmm, if they are, it may not be a good sign for me. I am in state and I applied October 11.
