Has anyone gotten confirmation of their ED contract being received?

Re: Columbia 2011!
Not specifically, but my status checker said "Completion Pending*" with the * denoting that the ED contract needed to be turned in. A few days after it got there, I got an email saying my application was complete, and the status checker updated accordingly. I didn't get anything that said "We have received your ED contract" specifically though.rv11 wrote:Has anyone gotten confirmation of their ED contract being received?

Right now the office is taking 2-3 weeks to process applications because of the high number of new submissions.T6Hopeful wrote:Not specifically, but my status checker said "Completion Pending*" with the * denoting that the ED contract needed to be turned in. Re: Columbia 2011!
I meant that since my application changed from completion pending to complete (which only took about three days), I know my contract was processed, despite not receiving a specific confirmation. I guess this is where me being concise might have helped reduce confusion.s0ph1e2007 wrote:Right now the office is taking 2-3 weeks to process applications because of the high number of new submissions.T6Hopeful wrote:Not specifically, but my status checker said "Completion Pending*" with the * denoting that the ED contract needed to be turned in. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I'm waiting on a confirmation email of my ED contract. I have, in fact, been sitting back for the past week and waiting patiently for mid-December to roll around, knowing everything's out of my hands now.

Re: Columbia 2011!
Mine was never acknowledged on the status site and I e-mailed as well. They e-mailed back a couple days later that all my materials have been received, including my early decision agreement. My guess is that you get the exact same e-mail.eskimogirl wrote:i emailed them and asked.rv11 wrote:Has anyone gotten confirmation of their ED contract being received?

Re: Columbia 2011!
I'm RD, not ED, and I submitted late October. I went complete in early November but I just checked again and my status has changed back to "Completion Pending"!! Has this happened to anyone else? I'm totally baffled.

I've been "completion pending" for over a month now. I emailed last week to ask, and have received no response..Excellence = a Habit wrote:I'm RD, not ED, and I submitted late October. Wow, okay. Maybe I imagined having gone Complete before and I was always Completion Pending... Let us know if you hear back from the adcomms on it, eh?arism87 wrote:I've been "completion pending" for over a month now. Re: Columbia 2011!
So, I was Completion Pending for the longest time, and I finally went complete last week on 11/8. But today, my status checker says it cannot find any records for me. Has this happened to anyone else??

Mine is still at "complete". Maybe they had a glitch or something.

applied RD on October 30, and I'm a "Completion Pending*"
Do they put an astrix for all applicants before they are processed, even if they are not ED?

I'm completion pending too. I also have an asterix, even though I'm not ED.

Re: Columbia 2011!
THREE things:
1) I called Columbia several times over the past two week sand they're really helpful for anyone who has questions.
2) I got my ED application in on time but my file on LSAC is still missing a transcript and, to my surprise, Columbia told me that they allow up to "a couple of weeks grace period" for a file to be completed before moving a person to RD. For those of you having a problem like that.
3) When do people typically hear back from ED? Mid-December I assume? What's the typical date??
THANKS!

Re: Columbia 2011!
I'd like to know this as well...I submitted mine over a week ago. I guess the average waiting time is around 2 weeks, that's what the website says they usually need to compile everything together.MM326 wrote:How long did it take for you to go from completion pending to complete?oxford_don wrote:Went complete today.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
