Those who have been accepted - have you seen scholly offers yet? Anyone know their general timeline for those?

Nada. I'm trying to remember how long it took me to receive word during my last cycle but I can't. Might be on my old lsn page. I just got the acceptance letter and deposit statement in the mail yesterday. That was all that was in the envelope.

Oh, so you applied last cycle as well? Where did you apply and where were you accepted last cycle and where are you applying this cycle.

Sorry not last cycle..."my last cycle" as for the entering class of 2009 so basically two years ago. I still have my old lsn page up in my profile if you want to check it out. I've changed my school list a lot though. Not so many Ohio schools because I wouldn't go to most of them and a lot of southern schools because I'm considering a warm weather move.

Alabama, Tulane, Texas, Vandy, UVA, Wake, UNC, UGA....still sitting on my Emory app. Getting acceptances makes one lazy....

UNC, UGA and Wake gave me love last time. Vandy and UVA waitlisted me. First time applying to the first three. Accepted at two of them already.

I'd really love to get into UVA and Vandy. I have no idea where i want to practice. If I decide to stay in Ohio, it will be OSU or T-14 if that pans out. Illinois places well here too.

Just sent in my app. My gf's from Columbus and went to OSU a little for her undergrad. I know she'd be pretty happy if I got in and decided to attend. Let the waiting begin.

Did anyone else get a call from a student this week? I did but since I was at work (they don't know about my law school plans), I'm sure it came off as super awkward.
I shouldn't have answered the phone but was hoping it was scholarship related.

Yeah, I got a phone call on Thursday from a current student. I was studying at the library so I couldn't take the call, unfortunately. Was anything interesting discussed?

I actually talked to two students when the one I was speaking to found out about my sorority, she grabbed someone else there who was also a member. They were actually very nice and had a lot of good advice. They definitely read my resume and chose these recruiters because I had a lot in common with both lol.

I'm totally kicking myself for saying I didn't need a call back.
The thing is, I already bombarded my coworker's husband with my major questions, and he answered them thoroughly. My junior league mentor is also an alumna, so I plan on bugging her as well. I shouldn't have picked up at work. Oh well.

That's cool that they have students call you. I'm hoping the next big round of acceptances comes out this week (but it will probably be next week).
