Re: IU Indianapolis Applicants' Thread
Scholarship information received- ~30k per year renewable each year (with a 3.0 which I was told is approx. top half of class). Looking at LSN, this seems almost too good to be true. I am in no way complaining, but I do not see anyone from this year or last year with this offer below a ~170 LSAT score.
Thoughts?

I don't know what other kind of schollys youve received, but 30k a year from indy seems decent.Chants wrote:Scholarship information received- ~30k per year renewable each year (with a 3.0 which I was told is approx. top half of class). Also, does anyone know if IU-Indy is having their SB next week? If so, I assume no decisions will be released.

My status is still showing complete, I also applied on 3/1. Does anyone have any idea about why my app is not in review?

My app has been complete since 1/18 and is still not under review so you could have a long wait.

Re: IU Indianapolis Applicants' Thread
Notre Dame won't budge on their scholarship money and its been between Indy and ND for about a month now. Thus, I am headed to Indy in August! Woot! I'd like to create a fb page - but everytime I attempt to, it requires me to add at least one other "friend." Anyone care to PM me their email addy and I will add you - then create a Class of 2014 group?
Cheers!

Thanks, I feel really good about my decision. Hope to see some of you during the admitted student weekend April 1 and 2 and of course in August.NickM54 wrote:That was a tough choice for you Angie, but I think you made the safe bet. Congrats!

In case if anyone is curious . . . I just snagged USN&WR - Indy is ranked 79th this year (up from 86th).

Created the FB page; its open to all "prospective" students - but I would ask that those who are "seriously" considering attending in August should join. If this link doesn't work, http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=gro ... 3546975925, just search "Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis ("Indy Law") Class of 2014.
I just paid my seat deposit and look forward to getting to know some of you!

File complete since 11/18!
I finally sent an email saying that if they had no interest in me tell me so I don't waste an opportunity elsewhere seat deposit. Changed to IR two days after my email although I don't expect positive results any time soon...

It breaks my heart to see Indy take so long in getting answers to some of you; I'm afraid that by delaying their responses they are losing a lot of really great people.

Re: IU Indianapolis Applicants' Thread
Hey guys, I made it in yesterday.
Is anyone planning on going to visit the campus? I'm from Texas and have never been to Indiana so would like to take a trip up there and see how everything is like.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
