Just received my acceptance via mail a few minutes ago. This is my #1 choice so my cycle is over. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Well, after sitting through delay after delay, my 2nd LOR finally arrived and I finally sent off my app to ND. Now I keep my fingers crossed and pray for the best.
Good Luck to all!

Re: Notre Dame 2014 applicants
Got Waitlisted today.
Applied very early, but applied RD. It was a reach for me so I am glad I didn't get dinged, but would have preferred and acceptance. Definitely a top choice for me.
Anyone out there know how ND works their waitlist?

Waitlisted RD? What method does ND have for issuing decisions? Makes little to no sense.

Yeah I am not sure. I was definitely in within the timeframe for ED, but I didn't submit the ED app.

I submitted 10/2 and received my complete email on the 10/13. That was the only communication I had from them before the letter arrived today.Lou9 wrote:When did you submit?theavrock wrote:Snail Mail. Dated 12/7wonkymonkey wrote:How were you notified of being waitlisted?

I've been complete since then too and did RD. Hopefully a decision in the next few days.theavrock wrote:I submitted 10/2 and received my complete email on the 10/13. For those of you being WLed, take it from me, ND is very good about letting people off the WL. It may take a while, but its worth it to hold out. I got off of the WL in August.
And for those who got in, can't wait to see you here next year!

What is the likelihood that I will be able to land a big firm job in Los Angeles upon graduation if I attend ND? Mid-size firm? I'm from LA and want to work/live here after law school.

Has anyone gotten an email in addition to the mailed letter? I applied ED and still haven't heard anything.

Probably not great. There's a big thread on here somewhere about last years OCI and ND didn't look to good. Something like 30 employers.RedItalus10 wrote:What is the likelihood that I will be able to land a big firm job in Los Angeles upon graduation if I attend ND? Mid-size firm?
