DR 4/22, letter sent 4/22 - rejected via nicely-worded letter. I think it's nice that they go to the trouble of sending a letter. It's more dignified than an email rejection.

Yes I think so!

I'm deciding between USD, Cincinnati with 20k/yr (if you include auto-metro rate if you live in Kentucky over the river) and Seattle U w 15k/yr.

Thoughts?

im more shocked USF hasn't gotten back to me actually, every other school in their rankings range got back to me pretty quick, while they are just keeping me in limbo

don't really have much of a desire to go there anymore, but ya, kinda odd

USD is the last school left on my list that could really have a large effect on where I end up next year, so i wish they would just do somin with me

WTF?! That sucks I'm sorry. Hopefully tomorrow. If I don't hear back from them today I think I'm going to go crazy. I'm in the OC so I hope something is in the mail today. Maybe you can call them and make sure the letter was actually sent on the 22 or 23 instead of yesterday or something?

Well, I'm open to anything.
I'm attracted to Seattle because the cost is reduced, the city is beautiful and the law building is unreal.
I'm attracted to Cincinnati for its lack of cost vs. its high ranking
I'm attracted to San Diego for everything except the cost of $180,000

just got an e-mail reply from san diego

Due to the high volume of applicants it may take a while for a decision to be rendered. Please note that the bulk of the decisions will be sent out by the end of April. You may use your status checker online to view any changes. The order of changes is as follows: file received, file complete, decision rendered.

the bolded/underlined part, was bolded/underlined in the email response, i'm hoping i'm in that "bulk of the decisions"

Are they done putting people on the waitlist then? Mine went straight from complete to waitlisted.

Got the mail in LA today, and I'm out. This is disappointing, but I guess it was not meant to be. I'm still waiting to hear from four schools, so the waiting continues and at least now I have one less status check to obsess over after having been complete at USD since Feb. Good luck to everyone still waiting. Everything happens for a reason!

Have you submitted a LOCI to USD??? Your stats are good, right around where mine are. Did you apply really late or is there some other strange factor that might be why you don't have DR yet???

Odd is a very good word to use to describe this situation. I went decision rendered on 4/22 also... and still nothing? I live on the east coast but still, odd.

And I really hate to break it to everyone but, (if they do send out mass rejection letters on a single day) I am almost certain I was rejected. And judging by everyone who has heard back from a decision rendered on 4/22... it seems to be unlikely to the contrary.
