Got the acceptance email while I was at lunch!

I will need merit aid to attend, but I guess if I don't get any, I can feel good about rejecting them when they rejected me for undergrad. Silver lining and all.

Sorry if this has been asked and/or answered, but does Northwestern reimburse for campus visits?

I am wholey inadequate at the search function here as far as finding what I need.

They do provide one if you are travelling from outside a 300 mile radius of the city of Chicago. The maximum subsidy is $150 (for airfare only) and they will only provide a subsidy if your ticket costs over $200.

Thank you. I just went and checked it out. It's only for the admitted student day, but hey, it's better than nothing. (except for me, as my SIL is getting married that day).

In today. they sent me 4 emails to announce it. a bit overkill. I applied in early january. I will probably be withdrawing soon to go to another school. I hope my spot goes to one of you still waiting to hear. Good luck!

The "when you applied" part is critical. Money is sort of dolled out on a first come first serve first admitted basis.

Those are my numbers and I applied in early November. I was admitted just before the financial aid deadline and submitted my stuff right on March 1. Anyway, any kind of scholarship would be FANTASTIC.
