So what's the consensus on people still waiting for a JS1? Or am I the only one left...

pretty much this. Me not getting a JS1 will be the least surprising thing to happen this cycle.Daydreamer15 wrote:+1jjcorvino wrote:Still waiting, but then again I might never get one.pkalltheway wrote:So what's the consensus on people still waiting for a JS1? Or am I the only one left...

Still waiting. I definitely don't have numbers to be expecting one/surprised if I don't get one, but I'm still hoping.VA2lawschool wrote:Also waiting, and I feel like lots of people with the same or lower numbers have gotten themashrice13 wrote:pretty much this. Jesus. I just realized that I block private numbers. When they call, is it usually a private number? Maybe I should stop blocking private numbers. Ugh.texteach wrote:Just got a 'No Caller ID' call, but it was a wrong number.

I've read on here that it's both - some from a blocked number and some from a Massachusetts number.MrJD2020 wrote:Jesus. I just realized that I block private numbers. Whats the probability of receiving a JS2 if you receive a JS1?
I cant seem to find the answer to this

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
They interview ~1200 candidates each year, per the ABA report, they made ~930 offers last year. So, for the "average applicant" (not that one exists) one would have a ~78% chance of a JS2. JS1s aren't pro forma, but they are a very positive sign.dyebri wrote:Whats the probability of receiving a JS2 if you receive a JS1?

No one knows for sure, but it is believed to be around 75%.dyebri wrote:Whats the probability of receiving a JS2 if you receive a JS1?

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
What does a JS1 mean exactly in terms of how many people have looked at your application. Is it just one person who read your app and liked you, or are others involved. I know the next step after an interview is to pass it on to a faculty reader....then it goes to the admissions committee... then decision.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
