Admitted student days are just a single day thing that consists of a brief welcome followed by a student-led tour and a class visit, whereas the Open Houses are more of a traditional "admitted students weekend" type of thing with programming spread across two days (January is a Thursday and Friday, didn't look at the March dates).

The combination of your username and tar is unsettling to me. :|

Yeah. It seems the status checker is pretty useless. I think some people mentioned it was still at "application completed" when they were able to created an account for the admit website/accepted.
GULC doesn't update the status checker beyond complete. You will either receive a letter in the mail if you are accepted, or an email if you are waitlisted/rejected. You can also attempt to generate a login on the admitted students website, which if it lets you means you are accepted and your letter will show up in the mail within the next week or so (it can also take several days for the log-in to actually work...but as long as it is created you are accepted), though this doesn't give you any insight over still pending/waitlist/rejected since it only works or doesn't.
Thanks everyone

Except that I am, and it's unsettling because your username is the thing that your tar hates most in the world. To create a comparative with another fine NBC comedy, it'd be like if my username was obamacare and my tar was a picture of Jack Donaghy.

Complete on 12/4, alumni interview on 1/9...can I safely assume this is not good news for me? From what I've heard, most people who were accepted after an interview only had to wait a week or so.

I got accepted almost 3 weeks after my interview sois not necessarily bad news!

I was able to create a log-in on the ASW about 2 weeks after my alumni interview and didn't get my letter in the mail for another week, so I wouldn't worry yet. If you had already been waitlisted or dinged, you'd have gotten an email...so there is hope!

Just got a personalized video by email from dean Cornblatt with congratulations for being accepted a few months ago. Anyone else get an email? Any scholarship emails go out yet?

A few of us got those yesterday, but radio silence on scholarships so far. Probably won't know anything until February, at least.

hi all,

I had a quick question regarding the status checker for Georgetown. My current status is "application completed". However, I have never had a status date. The only date on the status checker indicates that my application fee was paid 1/6/2016. I applied Early Decision and it is approaching three weeks. Is this normal or have you all had status dates available on your status checkers?

Thanks for any information!

I just applied and the email I got about the status checker says:

"Once an application is complete, the file becomes eligible for review. Once the status check page indicates that an application is complete, it will not update again, even once a decision is made. "

Long time lurker, first time poster, hi everyone!

In yesterday via a tiny envelope in the mail (I was convinced it was a ding/waitlist upon seeing the envelope). Status Checker still says complete and while I can generate the login, I can't actually log in (anyone else having this issue?)

I applied 11/23, went complete 11/30, had to reschedule two group interview due to travel, and finally completed a group interview on 1/14.

Anyone know when scholarship information comes through?

GULC doesn't use the status checker. You'll get a snail mail acceptance letter or an email saying you were waitlisted/rejected, but you can also use the admitted students website trick to sometimes find out you got accepted early.

It can take up to a week for your login to actually work -- since you got the envelope yesterday, I would think it should become active by sometime on Monday (maybe Tuesday). As for scholly info, no one has any idea on sure dates. From past years, award notifications usually start sometime in February and go through March.
