For those who applied or are applying for merit aid only -- did you still have to submit FAFSA and Need Access? Most other schools don't seem to require those if you only want to be considered for merit aid or matching of another school's merit aid offer. Wondering if NYU is different. Thanks.

if you've already been admitted, the best place to ask questions about scholarships/discuss other general admitted students stuff is here.

Got a call mid-way through class today. Sent the students to workstations to hear the voicemail, since I wasn't familiar with the 212 area code.

In this case ASW is the admitted students website. http://www.law.nyu.edu/admittedstudents if you see DLS on your status checker, try to log into the website to see if you've been admitted.dyddnjs90 wrote:Thank you~Mack.Hambleton wrote:DLS = decision letter sent, appears on status checker when a decision is madedyddnjs90 wrote:can someone tell me what dls and asw stands for??

I've been sitting at UR1 since late December, applied mid December. Is this normal? Should I send an LOCI?

Re: NYU c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
Like me, if you applied a long time ago and are still in early review, I am assuming that you have an LSAT or GPA that is relatively low for NYU. I'm at the 25th percentile for NYU's LSAT and applied in mid November with early decision, knowing it was a reach school. Have not received an update since 12/2. In all likelihood if you haven't received any update then you are on the waitlist/reject list, but they haven't sent many of these out yet.Broncos847 wrote:I've been sitting at UR1 since late December, applied mid December. Seriously? What are you waiting for?
