Just got waitlisted to the AJD program. Anyone know what the next time frame is or how likely it is for people to get in off the waitlist for the AJD program, especially since it starts in a couple months.

Me too. Given this post from Dean Johann (see below), I'd say are chances pretty slim. People that get admitted to the AJD are unlikely to give up their spot. Getting off the waitlist for regular admissions is more likely.

AJD Waitlist

We have completed review of virtually all applications (there are a small number of late comers that will be reviewed shortly). Therefore, we felt it was best to use the term “waitlist” over “hold”. Between now and the deposit deadline, we expect a small bit of activity (1 or 2) from the AJD waitlist. The week after the AJD deposit deadline there may be substantially more activity (up to 5). From that point until the first day of class, we are looking at perhaps another 2-3 admits. Why the small numbers? It’s a small program. If three people accept, that may mean 10% of the class.

Complete 11/14, no decision  ... I predicted that my decision might not come until Armageddon and so far that's looking accurate.

But good luck to everyone else!

the status is the only thing that's changed.

changed to "decision letter available within 24 hours." we're waiting for the letter to be posted/the email telling us it's been posted.
