I am "Decision Made" today. Do they ever send acceptances through email? Because if so, then I'm screwed or waitlisted. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I deposited there, but do you think I should wait it out to hear from ND, or withdraw from the waitlist? I can't afford ND without a scholarship, and I would assume the prospects of scholarships for waitlists are bleak. Thanks!

I got off the ND wait list in late April last year with a scholarship offer. Not sure what the common practice is though.

It's not ND, but I got off the waitlist of another school last year with a half scholarship.

Sometime waitlist might be due to YP, if that is the case, if you get off waitlist (most likely by showing a firm commitment to ND), you will probably receive a scholly

I still think a personal conversation is better than a letter. A letter is easy to reject, while saying no to a person face to face or on the phone is (relatively) harder.

I'm debating/waiting for new information I can use as leverage. Admissions has said they will consider June LSAT scores for more scholarship money. Obviously no guarantee though. In a perfect world I'd get a higher score and score release would coincide with a late acceptance off a higher ranked waitlist play. I lucked out with a scholarship offer slightly above the traditional $25k cap so I'm not sure how much more I can hope for. Not sure it's worth the time/effort/additional $160.

brrrcat, I'm retaking. As much to get off MI's waitlist w/ money as to increase $ at either ND or WUSTL whichever I decide to Deposit2 at.

kyle, I generally agree. most of TLS indicates that emails are better for negotiation purposes. that probably doesn't matter in this case since they aren't really open to negotiation anyway. and I contemplate driving up 3.5 hrs to ND everyday and just not leaving until they throw me a bone

I was accepted via email, but it came the day after my status changed to "decision made". Seems like those accepted get emails about a day after their status changes.

My status showed that a decision was made and my seat deposits showed in the lower left hand corner. I did not receive an email until nearly a week after, however. It was a tough wait.

Seat deposits have been a relatively accurate indication of admission.

Could you elaborate how you got it? I emailed right after ASD and never recieved an email response back or anything. How long did it take; I'm starting to freak about it.

I received it via snail mail. I emailed them the day after ASW.
