Somebody else also reported acceptance on LSN yesterday:

So it was a 2-call "wave", as usual.

+1. Any intel on this would be appreciated.andapieceoftoast wrote:I feel like this may have been discussed (I think someone said that it only took a week for someone to get dinged last cycle), but does anyone know approx. how long it has taken for asha to auto-ding someone (i.e. not send to faculty review) and to notify them of that ding? I'm trying to figure out how long I should wait on egg shells for that auto-ding to come.
Apologies if this has already been discussed...my memory of these threads is shot

So sorry to hear that Attax
I guess this week's action is a mixed-bagged and not just positive news like we were hoping.

EDIT: Although, I have been trolled quite a bit this week, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm just at a IDGAF point now.

Yeah, I submitted at the deadline (3/1) and I don't remember complete. I am way below both 25ths though, only redeeming quality may be some interesting softs for a KJD.andapieceoftoast wrote:Sorry to hear that AttaxAttax wrote:3PM CST, was in my spam box, but I was also prob an autoding.drawstring wrote:When did the ding come?

If I get a call from 203 soon I'll confirm that this was, indeed, a trollding. I whoosh that is right.wtrc wrote:Attax,

Only one ding reported on LSN (but I think that it's Attax - same LSAT and submit date).scoobers wrote:Any other dings?

But could be a spoofed email address like the phone number. If it is yet another prank, I wouldn't put it past our prankster to manage to do that too.

I really think you should contact Yale for a solid confirmation. The uncertainty must be killer.Attax wrote:admissions.law@yale.edudrawstring wrote:What address did the email come from?

Yeah, I'm comparing the text with another applicant. If it doesn't align then I'll call in the morning.elle.woods8 wrote:I really think you should contact Yale for a solid confirmation. Re: Yale c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Is it possible to spoof emails? I would think that's way harder than Caller ID, and spoofing an email address seems Federal Crimey (but I have no idea if that's true).Attax wrote:admissions.law@yale.edudrawstring wrote:What address did the email come from?

No idea, I'll ask an IT friend. I'm in no big cahoots about it at this point. Clap to someone for perseverance at least. I must have made an enemy somewherewtrc wrote:Is it possible to spoof emails? ...if you have, in fact, been spoofed, it would appear that somebody out there is in desperate need of some hobbies.
*also, i thought yale did old-fashioned postal dings? or is it late enough in the cycle that they've switched to e-mail?
