Yay!
Yes, New York has to love you by Christmas,
True. December is a long month. My b-day is on Thursday, so I keep trying to convince myself that New York wants to give me birthday presents. But I'd settle for Christmas presents as well. :D
Haha my birthday was last week, and I was really hoping for a bday acceptance, but no dice.

Here's to a happy holiday season full of Cornell acceptances and scholarships for everyone!

Since our numbers are so similar, I'm really hoping they sweep both of us up on the next wave of decisions....

Updates on back-to-back days (12/12 and 12/13)! I'm choosing to believe this is a good sign because, well, why the heck not?

Everyone I've seen who has back-to-back updates has been accepted! I'd be positive if I were you

I just have to say that if I see you at ASW and you don't look like Hugh Laurie I am going to be disappointed. ;-)

Has anybody received the accepted student's viewbook thing alluded to in the actual acceptance letter?

Thanks for the response. And Cornell's my #1 choice with the eminent Michigan rejection pending.

Dear Cornell,

Please update me today. All my friends on your TLS thread got an update yesterday, but I didn't. Some of them were even making fun of your tower and stuff. I would never do that to you. We can have a great three years together, just update me today and add me to that batch of acceptances coming out.

Love,
Cog

Anyway else find that the wait is paradoxically worse right after an acceptance than during a drought?

I need some 12 days of acceptances.

I don't know if it's actually all that paradoxical... With a rolling admissions process, we know that our chances are somewhat lower after each batch of acceptances.

Oh, sorry... I meant from another school. So I just got into a school I could really see myself loving, and instead of being sated, I'm like "COME ON CORNELL! IT'S BEEN 36 HOURS SINCE I'VE BEEN VALIDATED!!" :D

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
