I thought they didn't really give out many merit-based aid? Also, I wouldn't say both your numbers are way above (According to profile, your GPA is below 25th, which is clearly the only reason you got WL'd in the 1st place).

well as a 168 lsat splitter (extremely low gpa) i am going to assume i am rejected since i did not receive this email. im almost at my 7th month mark though so it was nice of hastings to take that long just to reject me. why the hell they would take 7 months to reject me when they have been rejecting people this entire time boggles my mind.

On another note, are any accepted peeps that filled out the fin. aid documents many weeks ago still waiting for a financial aid package? I filled out my FAFSA and the Need Access App. in early March. They confirmed receipt of the documents in late March and I still don't have any hard numbers. Grr. It's difficult to decide where to attend given this uncertainty. I wonder if they are still deciding how to dole out merit aid/need aid. Any thoughts?

I'm going to Davis! Hopefully you will hear back from them soon! That would be insane if you heard about Hastings WL before even a decision from Davis!

I don't know if anyone's asked this before...but under what condition will hastings revoke admission because of bad grades or dropped class? I am taking everything P/NP and I want to drop this one weird class, but my transcript is going to show it...don't they only revoke when you fail a class?

Oh, well I really wouldn't want anyone to get upset by my speculations. Because really, I'm in the exact same boat you're in and I'm just trying to make sense of what's going on while thinking of a way I could be included in the next batch. I hope everyone who wants a spot gets one! I got waitlisted around the same time you did, so maybe they group in order of the time they sent out the waitlist notifications?
