Ok, so DR 4/22 is bad news.
maybe, maybe not. Look at 4/19, some people claim to have been accepted, some claim to have been rejected after going DR on 4/19. Lemme know how it goes for ya, I'm at work til 6 and can't check til I get home

. I'm hopin for the best for both of us

I'm a 4/22 DR living in So. Cal. with no letter today either.

I just walked up to my apt. after being gone since 9:30a.m. today and felt like I was going to throw up because of the anticipation. But no letter in the mailbox for me. Here's to hoping for the acceptance on Monday!

FWIW, when I worked in a (graduate) admissions office we processed the decisions as they came back from the department doing the reviewing and usually entered acceptances and rejections in every batch. I'm DR 4/22 and hoping for an acceptance in the mail this week (East Coast). Sorry to hear so many of them have been rejections. Thinking positive thoughts for everyone to get into the program that suits them best, USD or otherwise!

Is it true that USD has placed 235 applicants on their waitlist?

+1
Sending more positive thoughts to everyone, too! Good luck. Here's to hoping for the right acceptance for all of us.

That's a pretty specific number. I'm curious, where did you get that?

Come on, guys. Keep your chins up. Just because a few people who posted on here got rejected doesn't mean the whole batch of 4/22 DRs were rejects. There had to be some admits in there, too. We already heard about a few WLs out of that batch, so we know it wasn't just one big rejection frenzy. Here's hoping for an admit for the rest!
Sorry to hear about the rejections nonetheless. GL to all on the rest of your cycle.

I know what you mean. I'm really a positive person (despite what my posts look like lol) but after looking at LSN for similar scores and statuses plus the batch i just get a little discouraged.
I guess it's my defense mechanism of setting myself up for disappointment so that if it's good news i'll be really happy and if it's bad news, i expected it. Sorry if it's bumming everyone else out. I'm sure some people from DR 4/22 got in

Dislike!

Schools would save us all so much anxiety if they'd only post the decision on the status checker directly. Can you imagine if you got an e-mail from LSAC stating: "Your LSAT score has been finalized," but you had to wait for snail mail to see the actual score? This is the equivalent. I have a love/hate relationship with these status checkers.

I completely agree! Just email or post it on the status instead of making us suffer for days or weeks until we hear about it!
Not to mention it would be enviornmentally conscious as well
