Yep, the status had updated to "Decision has been mailed." I'm planning to attend the ASD if my job allows me to take the day off.

As far as scholarships go, are those only mentioned in the snail mail packet or do some people receive info via email too?

I don't think we have any evidence either way unfortunately.

159/3.74 with interesting softs. I didn't call or email them. In fact, I'd pretty much given up on Davis. It's an expensive school and as much as I'd love to attend, it won't work out without some sort of scholarship, which is unlikely with my crummy LSAT...

164/3.25 Interesting background and I tailored my PS to Davis. They also requested my fall grades a couple weeks ago, and I reiterated my enthusiasm for Davis and how it was my first choice. Went complete in early January FWIW. I live about 4 hours away, strongly considering making the drive north to ASD

Good point about the need based aid. I'll keep you all updated. If it doesn't look financially practical to matriculate, I'll withdraw ASAP to make room for other Davis aspirants. Good luck to everyone else that's waiting for a decision.

had an LSAT a couple points lower than yours, gpa close to 4.0, no merit aid but they did give significant merit aid. so don't give up, u might still get a lot of aid. from what i understand, merit aid was only offered to people with at least a mid 160 lsat score. good luck!

This is a huge waste of time (and space) but congrats to yo! and others for getting admitted recently. I really think with the quality of applicants out there either waitlisted or left waiting, there'll be more good news to come, especially after April 15.

Congrats to all of those who got in! I'm still waiting for a decision unfortunately. I've been complete since 12/16 and I'm tempted to contact the admissions office to see what's going on. Best of luck to those still waiting.

Hello,

I emailed Davis last night regarding my application. They replied that they're still moving them through committee and they aren't sure when they will have a decision for me. They must have liked what I wrote, though, because,

I can, however, make note of your inquiry and try to move your application a bit faster in the process. I will try to get it in front of the Admission Committee at the earliest date.

Still waiting, kind of, but I've already decided on Loyola, barring some strange last minute change.
