I've been waiting since Tuesday. I may just withdraw. I can't handle it.
I waited 8 hours between my JS1 invitation and my slot reservation and all you gunners had already taken every slot for 2 weeks straight!
In other news, I haven't heard anything from Standford. :/ Complete in December and went to review in early January.

+1 on waiting for YHS with those dates-ish. The impatience is real.dhbiv wrote:I'll throw my waiting time in as well. Been waiting for YHS since the end of October. I'm above both medians at Y, and at least at or above one or both 75th at H and S. JS1 in early/mid Nov. Ugh.
Good softs and really good LORs (Columbia interviewer even mentioned this)
Not gonna lie, I'm getting pretty antsy...just let me know for god's sake.

Same!! I keep telling myself that it's a black box, it's not over until it's over, etc., but then switch back to "OhMyGod they skipped over my dates, I must have massively screwed up my interview, it's all over."* So, basically, I'm just a real treat to be around right now.dhbiv wrote:SmallK wrote:+1 on waiting for YHS with those dates-ish. I know I'm being neurotic as all hell, but the H wait has aged me 10 years. I thought my interview went fine, but maybe it didn't? I said pretty much the same things during my H interview as I did during the Columbia and Chicago interviews. I know the cycle has been slower than usual this year, but god damn I've been second guessing my interview responses for the past 2-3 weeks.
*Please also note that my attitude is directly linked to my caffeine intake. Buy stock in Starbucks, kids, I'm funding it.

Y'all don't sweat it. There's one wave once a month. In all likelihood the Feb wave won't come until the end of the month.

I always send them ASAP because one often forgets each is handmade after the order. You need to account for that time delay.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:3 days!! Shoulda sent those edible arrangements earlier, smh.ood wrote:I've been waiting since Tuesday. I may just withdraw. I can't handle it.

For people freaking out, I'll again state that last cycle I was in the first round of JS1s at the start of NOVEMBER, and did not hear anything until MARCH 28th.
ETA I was accepted.

I think I'm gonna do a cookie bouquet instead of edible arrangements.
