I didn't get an offer until VERY late in the cycle (maybe March?) and mine was large, so don't despair if you haven't gotten anything yet. I got a need based financial aid offer at least a couple of weeks before I was notified that I got the scholarship, too. There's definitely hope.

You can trust this man, after all he is renowned physician and semi-respectable dentist Leo Spaceman, graduate of the Ho Chi Minh School of Medicine.

Most probably, yes. I generated a login back in December and got my letter two days later. The login wasn't activated until a couple days after that.
Awesome- Thank you Tycho! I was really excited I could request a login since I had seen posts about that meaning acceptance but was thrown a bit when I couldn't use the info to log into the site. I really appreciate the response!
The same thing just happened to me. Haven't gotten my letter yet either, but I think it means we're in! Congrats!
Yay! I'm really hoping it holds true! Congrats to you too!! I still haven't gotten the letter but I'm hoping today's the day!!!
Confirmed- I'm in! Got my letter yesterday! Planning to attend the open house in January

Did anyone else do the optional Youtube video?

Super hoping decisions won't take 8-12 week like they have posted on the application :? :? :? :?

Is anyone signed up for the info session and tour that's supposed to happen on Thursday? They said they would send an email with info about where its being held, etc, and haven't done so yet

Trying to decide whether to attend January open house vs. one of the later dates. I'm thinking it doesn't make much difference, but I'm probably dragging my feet on the January one because I really don't want to burn two vacation days.

I'm going to the January one because I'm almost certain that the March one is going to be the same weekend as at least one other school's ASW.

Hi, quick question here.

I applied first week of Jan, and it's been "application completed" since then. Is this normal?

Does everyone get an interview? Or just applicants they are interested in?

I know the first page of this thread says it takes about a week to get your interview request, and it has been 7 days since I've gone complete, so starting to get a bit antsy...

Many people (myself included) get in without an interview. Don't worry!

Dean Cornblatt gets extra brownie points for actually saying my incredibly difficult name right :D It was such a nice gesture.

What is the difference between open houses and admitted student days? The admitted student's website mentions four ASDs that do not correspond with the open houses so I'm curious what the difference is.

Yeah. It seems the status checker is pretty useless. I think some people mentioned it was still at "application completed" when they were able to created an account for the admit website/accepted.

GULC doesn't update the status checker beyond complete. You will either receive a letter in the mail if you are accepted, or an email if you are waitlisted/rejected. You can also attempt to generate a login on the admitted students website, which if it lets you means you are accepted and your letter will show up in the mail within the next week or so (it can also take several days for the log-in to actually work...but as long as it is created you are accepted), though this doesn't give you any insight over still pending/waitlist/rejected since it only works or doesn't.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
