If I'm gonna be DLS'd, at least it'll be on page 69.

So are the people still standing the ones who did not have a decision made on Friday?
Also, I appreciate that Stanford DGAF about the calendar. It's funny.

Me too! Planned on going to Harvard either way, but it sucks to wait this long for not even a waitlist.Topszn wrote:lol, rejected. the bitterness is real. see a lot of you folks at Harvard this fall!

DLS, but when I called the admission guy was very confused--apparently their system doesn't have me as having a decision letter yet. So he couldn't tell me. Honestly, what a fitting end for this saga.

I got the DLS today. On my second attempt at calling the admissions office (first time went to answering machine) on their regular phone number, someone looked me up and notified me I was offered a spot on the waitlist. Left it at that.
I agree this timeline is a bit drawn out, but I think they're doing their best.

I'll never believe that this is "doing their best", no law school on earth needs 7+ months to make a decision. It's like the entire admissions staff took a 3 month sabbatical and are now rushing to get things done.Dcc617 wrote:Do NOT take their sideTheLorax wrote:I got the DLS today. don't mind me tho, I'm just so frustrated that it now sounds like it could take ANOTHER WEEK

Got a status update to 5/3... but no DLS. I'm scared. And giddy. But mostly scared.

I logged in 10 minutes ago and it said DLS. Then I logged in 5 minutes later and DLS was gone, it was back to "app is complete," and the date had changed to today. No clue.wilfred wrote:Got a status update to 5/3... but no DLS. I'm scared. And giddy. But mostly scared.

I'm assuming the same happened to me, I just didn't catch the DLS. Either we're in the good news boat, or the bad news boat, but at least now we know we're in a boat of some kind.burritoface wrote:I logged in 10 minutes ago and it said DLS. I'm a little disappointed with the change-- now it isn't as obvious that I have been waiting for over five months, which is really detracting from the hate-fire that burns from within.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
