Here's hoping, at any rate, we all get our DLS within the next couple weeks at least. I have a feeling NYU will be the last school I'm waiting on, and it'd suck if they didn't say anything until "mid to late April."

Are letters of continued interest sent through the mail or via email?

I went UR1 on 10/13 and UR2 on 10/29. I sent a LOCI last week. I was hesitant--"this thing just isn't done!" I said, finger hovering over the enter key for two minutes--but I don't feel like I had anything to lose.

My financial aid application has remained at "Under Final Review" for 2+ weeks. I'm guessing it's good news that we haven't received a ding yet for IILJ, although it sounds like other scholarship programs have already been informed that they are finalists.

How quickly does one find out about merit scholarships after admission?

Format on the status checker changed; heart stopped for a second. Alas, it was just a format change, not an updated decision. Stuck at UR2 1/20.

Just noticed that the last three acceptance "waves" on LSN were on 2/10, 2/17, and 2/24 - all Tuesdays.

Stuck at UR1 1/12
I applied 1/12, they received 1/12, and status changed to UR1 1/12. Fast and smooth until then. But absolute silence ever since.
It seems like they had a look at my application and instantly hated it.
I know there are people out there waiting longer than I did, but still... would love to see some movement.
LSAT over 75th percentile, no GPA as an international.
Pls NYU at least look at my application once more

I get the feeling there is going to be a massive outpour of waitlists/dings from NYU one of these days. Sounds like almost anybody within the LSAT/GPA range has been held to the side with no news for a while now. I applied in November.

Yeah, I'm waiting for it. :c Would be nice if they could hurry up and get it over with, though.nawi226 wrote:I get the feeling there is going to be a massive outpour of waitlists/dings from NYU one of these days. Thoughts exactly. I applied to 12 schools, but applied to NYU a month and a half before all of the rest. I have a feeling NYU will be the last one I'm waiting on.mindthegap wrote:Yeah, I'm waiting for it. :c Would be nice if they could hurry up and get it over with, though.nawi226 wrote:I get the feeling there is going to be a massive outpour of waitlists/dings from NYU one of these days. Oh well. Cornell is my next choice and they responded a month ago.

I just went DLS, but no call yet and can't sign into the ASW (unless I'm typing in ID/PW wrong). Does this still mean I'm in, or had DLS changed meaning this late in the cycle?

Access to ASW can take upwards of a few hours. Make sure that you're including the "L" in your LSAC number.
Good luck!!

DLS as well (finally), but I don't think it's indicative of an acceptance or rejection. You'll have to wait for the ASW login to work or for the phone call/rejection e-mail to know one way or the otherKip wrote:I just went DLS, but no call yet and can't sign into the ASW (unless I'm typing in ID/PW wrong). Edit: was just able to log in to the ASW! So glad the wait is over and I can finally delete the status checker from my bookmarks

Congratulations, new admits!
Out of curiosity, does NYU release acceptance waves over the course of the day or all at once? Please tell me so I don't waste my time refreshing the status checker.

Scholarship award came. Satisfied with the amount--it's a good starting point for negotiation. PM me for more details.
I'm not clear from the email how much is merit and how much is need based--although it does say the amount constitutes the total scholarship award.

I applied early October, UR2 (I think) 10/27, and UR3 10/2.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
