http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =2&t=27169 That should address most of your questions.
I addressed my LOCI directly to Dean Hoye, but I assume it would be just as effective to Director Hill. I don't think it is too late, especially since they won't be doing much admitting until the end of April at the earliest. I would try and schedule a visit/interview around the end of April if possible though.

Went UR2 yesterday (3/19) after sitting at UR1 since 12/8.
I sent them an LOCI email on 3/17 and received a response on 3/18, so maybe that's a good sign?

Got my Duke scholarship in the mail today. More than Michigan. Pretty happy.

Has anyone approached Duke yet about increasing his/her scholarship, or know how Duke generally responds to such requests (i.e., whether they'll entertain matching similarly ranked schools)?

This might be a dumb question, but was I supposed to respond to the "Priority Reserve" email? Is there any sort of status checker-esque thing for people who are waitlisted?

Got scholarship info today in the mail. I think I was a bit lowballed, however I also declined the scholarship interview.

UR1 since 3/09. Is a LOCI advisable at this point, or is the time between 3/09 and 3/24 pretty normal for the status date not to change?

For those who are still at that stage, how long ago did you go UR2?

3/12. Their admitted students weekend is this weekend and I'm guessing that is taking all of their energy... I would guess/hope that movement will start back up next week. But who knows.Decisions Decisions wrote:For those who are still at that stage, how long ago did you go UR2?

so if you don't go UR within a few days, does that mean you are basically Non-PT and likely headed to the WL/rejected? I've been "complete/ready for review" since early march

no. PT people are invited to sign up for PT before submitting their app. if you are non-PT (as in you never got that invitation), everything will just take a lot longercalmboat wrote:so if you don't go UR within a few days, does that mean you are basically Non-PT and likely headed to the WL/rejected? UR2 - 3/18
I sent an LOCI the day before receiving my WL. Any ideas on what else I can do to show interest? I don't have any resume updates or additional LORs
