Yeah, this seems to be standard. The November JS1s got the same warning.morimoto1991 wrote:Had my JS1 today - was anyone else told that "we are still early in the admissions process and it will be a while until we are in touch again"?

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Congrats to the new admits!
Right now 3/7 1L sections are done with finals, with the other 4 finishing up between 4:30 and 5:00 (I believe). Just in case you were wondering what was happening over here.
To those still waiting, hang in there! Lots and LOTS of time left in the cycle, even if you've been in silence for awhile.

I'm really hoping she meant February or so, because I've heard that referred to as Spring by people before. I don't want to wait till March/April.psychmusic wrote:morimoto1991 wrote: Spring sounds like a long time from now lol

They literally admitted people this week so I think it's just their standard answer

Makes way too much sense.Pau.C. wrote:I think they could just mean "spring semester." Which would start in January.
That's what I would assume.
How many JS1's have been sent out as far as total slots? Their target is supposedly 1,200, right?

There aren't any slots on the calendar, so probably no JS1's. Idk about JS2's though.psychmusic wrote:So no JS1s today right? Therefore JS2s are very possible? I need to figure out a way to not think about this, I wonder if I can knock myself unconscious in the office without anyone noticing.
