One of my top choices, yes. So, it is AWESOME!
I had a semi-scheduled interview, by that I mean I was waiting on a response for a time and then got the phone call (half-expecting it).

That is the request for the interview. From what I can tell from this thread being asked to interview is definitely a positive. If you look through the thread you will find lots of good information about what to expect in the interview.

It is generally pretty casual and be ready to discuss Why UVA.

Congrats on getting an interview Gooner. They interview almost everyone before accepting, though a few people ITT have gotten accepted without an interview. Although its definitely a good thing to get an interview, you could still get accepted, WLed, or dinged after your interview. For more information on interviews, look through this thread. The spreadsheet says average time between complete and an interview request is about a month and a half. Any idea what the average response time for WLs has been? Been complete since about mid-December.

Been complete since 11/26 and have heard absolutely nothing. So so confused. I would've expected at least a WL by now.

I was waitlisted in the last week or two (too lazy to check, but feel free to peruse the topic/spreadsheet/my post history) and submitted in early December.
