Late to the game and just submitted last night. Where are these status checkers? Are they sent out school-by-school, or accessed via LSAC and when do they go out?

Each school will send you status checker info separately. Some (like Michigan) take longer than others.

Re: NYU c/o 2017 Applicants Thread!
The website says 500-750 words (http://www.law.nyu.edu/jdscholarships/a ... howtoapply) and I believe that's what the addendum prompt also said, so I followed that at 12-pt font and had about 2 1/4 pages double-spaced.AAJD2B wrote:Double-spaced for a total of 1 1/2 pp.paglababa wrote:Anyone else apply for the AnBryce? Finally received the acceptance packet in the mail - gotta say, I was impressed. They have a very skilled and well-paid marketing staff

You got the actual package or the initial letter? I live in Brooklyn and haven't received the package yet...Steveloblaw wrote:Finally received the acceptance packet in the mail - gotta say, I was impressed. They have a very skilled and well-paid marketing staff

UR1 this morning.
Just happy someone gave me an update. I've been checking all weekend, knowing that I wouldn't get any updates over the weekend.

Alright I have been reading everyones posts on here and I'm starting to feel sick. I went UR on 12/16. All the admits I have been reading about went UR to DLS rather quickly. I think I should be in a good spot with my numbers 175 3.6 non URM Hispanic... but I am worried about the lack of a decision so far. Applying for the root-tilden scholarship etc. couldn't slow anything down right... Some1 tell me something good/bad true/false to set my mind at ease.

To all those very worried: NYU hasn't sent out any decisions lately (at least, not going off this thread). I imagine there will be a big batch within the next few weeks. Until then, sit tight!
ETA: Last decisions look like they were 12/17ish. If you submitted around then or shortly before then, I wouldn't be too worried just yet.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry, given the holiday. To answer your other question, no, RTK doesn't slow things down. It's a separate process that starts after you're accepted. I'm applying for RTK and I got a quick turn around in early December. (Which isn't to say that you should freak out because you don't have a quick turn around.)Dominican_Lawyer wrote:Alright I have been reading everyones posts on here and I'm starting to feel sick.
