I got the same email last week, but I haven't had any updates. I'm going on the assumption that it means expect a decision in about a month, but I really don't know.

Had not heard a thing, Not accepted yet. I am going to Cornell for a mock trial competition,, i was thinking about a in person LOCI....thoughts anyone?

Do it! What do you have to lose? I have a friend who is judging the mock trial teams here, and she says everyone is really impressive. You clearly have stuff to talk about.

It is ONLY January though. Very early. I'd at least go in and talk to them, though. Ask some questions and let them know what you think of the school.

Damm, they were closed, NOT working a saturday, this is your busy time of year!!!....had a left brain idea to break in and leave a note....but i didn't think that it would endear them to me, LOL.....maybe the were watching the Competition, hope so......got an outstanding attorney award....

Well, if you do end up writing LOCI, you should definitely put that in there.

Did everyone who sent in a LOCI get some sort of response? I'm just a little curious as they never acknowledged I'd even sent it.

I'm just paranoid after another school lost my app for nearly two months

Well, I applied in late November last year and didn't hear anything until March when I was accepted. I think Cornell is a little slow.

Submitted first week of Jan and still not even complete yet; Cornell is the slowest school I've applied to.

Yeah it usually takes over 3 weeks to go complete. Hopefully i will be all worth it in the end.

Hey guys.

Some of you may have seen some stats-based stuff I have been posting in other forums. I have been working a lot on it, trying to kill time while application decisions trickle in. Most of the stuff I did over the last couple days was based on the last cycle, or the last two cycles. I've started to put together individual school analysis based on ALL the available data on LSN now, so I'll post them to the corresponding school's threads. This would probably have been more useful/interesting for people a few months ago, but what the heck.

This table is based on logistical regression analysis of data from Law School Numbers. It includes all accepted and rejected applicants from the 2003/4 cycle up until the present (2012/2013) cycle. It does not include waitlisted applicants (unless they indicated that they had been ultimately accepted or rejected). Please keep in mind the nature of the data when interpreting these results.

Also, keep in mind that this analysis is based only on the outcomes for the indicated school’s applicant pool compared to each other, and does not necessarily mean that “numbers aren’t important” to any particular school.

Eventually, once I've slogged through everything, I'll compile lists and, where they'd be helpful, charts comparing data across schools. I'm no stats expert, but I picked up some stuff in grad school, and I enjoy it.

Had my 3rd "complete" update today too. Has a decision the day after the 3rd update been the pattern?

Do you usually receive notice of Dean's Scholarships, etc. when admitted?

I was also just admitted via email! (no mention of scholarships)
