How would someone find out about a scholarship? Would it just be in the VCE or do some people get a call?

Only people with named scholarships find out in the VCE/international email.

Probably not, unless you're Canadian and thus you get the email as an international student (which is sort of funny, as I live quite close to the US border).

Don't know if this will make things better or worse, but they also just leave some people hanging for a long time. Like I said earlier, I heard nothing between my grades request 1/5 and my acceptance 3/8.

I really don't think they do. I think they might just have a really good IT department that went "HEY, look at all these people trying the Admitted Students Site." Run Report. E-mail Dean. Panic Mode. Solution Found. Fuck you all (the new message was kind of a "get the fuck outta here" but much much nicer.
