I think this might have happened to someone, but I am just too lazy to search through this thread. Has anyone have their status checker goes from complete -> being blank -> back to complete? I smell a WL or even a ding is coming, but try to stay positive.

really praying that my dean interview helps. I havnt heard a peep at 3.1 167, and im fearing the worst. I only applied to 3 schools.

Aside from the obvious, what is a dean interview? Did you request this? Is it a formal thing?

i am just going for a visit, meeting with the dean of admissions for 30 minutes, taking a tour, and sitting in on a class. i think its just a good opportunity to put a face to a name. if you set up a visit, you should have that opportunity i think

I'm doing the same thing week after next.

WM has a request button on their website. You have to give them like 2 weeks notice. They let you choose which components you want including tour, class observation, dean visit.

I was never sent a status checker or notification of going complete. I only received an e-mail saying my app was received. Then, less than 2 weeks after applying, I received an acceptance via snail mail without knowing I was even complete yet. Basically my point is every schools process for reviewing apps seems pretty random so I wouldn't worry about status checker updates.

Yeah, but everyone who got a WM status checker had that happen. If you go a few pages back, we all freaked out when our status dates reappeared after being blank for sometime.

With your numbers I would probably write an LOCI and/or send them questions by email or call them with questions. Maybe remind them of your visit before and ask some new questions.

I'm sure they want that 170 very badly. The problem for me is that my numbers are so ho-hum for them. . . they don't need me for anything.

To those of you that emailed to negotiate scholarship money- how long did you wait for a reply? I haven't heard back yet and I sent them a note the beginning of the week. I'm hoping to hear soon so I can plan a trip over there.

It took 7 or 8 days for mine. I wouldn't worry too much just yet.

I just received my scholarship offer from UGA which is almost the same (money wise) as W&M. I am planning on visiting in two weeks. Should I wait until then to request a scholarship increase? Or is the sooner the better?
