Good for you. You must feel like such a bad ass turning down a school that didn't accept you. Zing!
Normally I would not post a response to a comment like yours, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

Any movement for anyone today? Still "complete, ready for review." I'm seriously hoping they deliver and get a big wave out in the next few days since the 15th seems to be their newest target. Good luck to everyone else in my position!
As for everyone else posting recently, thanks for providing an excellent distraction from my constant status/email checking.

Er.. right. Anyway, according to LSN, there've been more waitlists today.

yeah.. My guess (which is not especially informed, so don't take my word for it) is that still being at complete probably means either rejection or acceptance, not waitlist. Trying to stay positive though!

I almost would prefer one of those to a waitlist at this point. Don't know if I could stand 4 months of status checking.

Are those who are being waitlisted finding out only through the status checker, or are you getting an email as well?

E-mail here. Actually I saw it first on status checker and was horrified to realize that it had gone into the spam folder. SHAME ON YOU GOOGLE!

From a recent email sent by a UNC system school to students:
"This past Tuesday, the North Carolina House of Representatives Appropriations Subcommittee for Education released its budget proposal for 2011-12. The proposed reductions to the UNC System are devastating—a cut totaling 17.4 percent of the University System budget—and, as a result, today I am in Raleigh meeting with the House and Senate Leadership. UNC System President Tom Ross has stated, “a cut of this magnitude is equivalent to the entire state appropriations for UNC Asheville, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina University and Winston-Salem State University combined.”
Anyone care to speculate what this might mean, if passed, for the as yet unreleased 2011-2012 budget/tuition?

I got that email too. Sad stuff..........pretty sure tuition will climb, possibly higher than the projected + $2,000 they are predicting

I can say they must have liked my high GPAs and my essays, because otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten in.

If that's the case, then I'm afraid I could receive the later of the two options.
